Pain in women...and women in pain

A two-day conference looking specifically at the topic of pain in women was held in the RCPI in Dublin recently.
The successful conference ended with state-of-the-art lectures, which were co-chaired by Dr Paul Murphy, consultant in pain medicine, St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin and Dr Valerie Pollard, consultant in anaesthetics and pain management, Beaumont Hospital, Dublin.
